2019-20 Premier League: Week 16 – Brighton vs Wolves

Brighton welcome Wolves to the Amex Stadium in the climax to this weekend’s Super Sunday.

Brighton will climb back into the top ten for the first time in 12 rounds with victory, whilst Wolves will reclaim fifth with victory and move to within three points of the top four.

Solly March could return from a groin injury for Brighton if he passes a late fitness test.

Jose Izquierdo meanwhile is still absent with a long-term knee injury.

Wolves have no fresh injury concerns as Willy Boly (ankle) and Morgan Gibbs-White (back) remain sidelined.

Prediction

I am expecting a cracker here because Wolves are currently in fierce form with just one defeat in their last 16 games across all competitions, but Brighton are just solid and can at times be clinical as demonstrated in their midweek win at Arsenal.

Wolves however need to start rotating their attack and midfield more than they currently do, unless they want to risk an injury crisis but their depth is evident and will cause Brighton some issues.

We therefore should see a tough test if Wolves do rotate but Brighton have had just 62 hours to prepare for this game, so fitness will become a factor late on which might well give Wolves that extra edge.

Prediction: Brighton 1-2 Wolves

Result: Brighton 2-2 Wolves
