Managerless Watford face a tough trip to the King Power Stadium as they take on an in-form Leicester City.
Leicester can return to second with a win and possibly reduce the gap to Liverpool, depending on what happens in the Merseyside derby.
Team news
Embed from Getty ImagesDemarai Gray is set to return for Leicester City after missing Sunday’s comeback win over Everton due to flu.
Midfielder, Matty James is still absent with a calf injury.
Watford could welcome Tom Cleverley back after the midfielder missed the last month with a heel injury.
Craig Dawson could also return after missing their defeat at Southampton due to a head injury.
Christian Kasabele, Danny Welbeck (both thigh), Sebastien Prodl, Daryl Janmaat (both knee) are ruled out, although Kiko Femenia could feature despite suffering a knock at the weekend.
Stat Attack
- Leicester have won three of their last five meetings with Watford, of which all three victories came at home (W3, L2).
- The Foxes failed to concede during all three wins, last conceding at home to Watford in November 2015.
- No Watford player has made a last man tackle yet this season.
Prediction
This is a must win for Watford if they want to stay close to their relegation rivals, with defensive marking key because if Leicester can rip open their defence early on with fast attacks, it will be a long ninety minutes of football for them.
I however am going for Leicester to take a comfortable win because they look unbeatable against teams outside of the ‘Big Six’, particularly with their powerfully quick attacks.
Prediction: Leicester City 3-0 Watford
Result: Leicester City 2-0 Watford
