2019-20 Premier League: Week 11 – Brighton vs Norwich

Brighton & Hove Albion welcome Norwich City to the Amex Stadium in a crunch clash at the bottom of the Premier League.

A home win could see Brighton climb into the top ten whilst Norwich could move out of the bottom three with victory.

Shane Duffy could return for Brighton after missing their last two matches with a muscular injury.

Bernardo and Jose Izquierdo are still out with knee injuries.

Norwich are expected to have Tim Krul available despite the Dutch international picking up a concern to his knee towards the end of their defeat to Manchester United last weekend.

Ralf Fahrmann (groin), Jamal Lewis (illness), Mario Vrancic (calf) and Ibrahim Amadou (knee) could also feature against the Seagulls.

Grant Hanley (groin), Christoph Zimmerman (ankle) and Timm Klose (knee) are all still long-term absentees.

Form

Brighton enter this match with seven points from their last five league games but are unbeaten in four of their five home games this season.

Norwich enter this match with just one point from their last five but are without an away goal since Teemu Pukki scored against Liverpool on the opening night of the season.

Stat Attack

Prediction

Neither team are in the best of form at present but Brighton have shown more attacking intent than Norwich, who can’t even score away from home currently which could be key to who wins here.

The Canaries however did produce a solid counter-attacking showing at Bournemouth a fortnight ago, so if they can continue to make progress then they might well end that barren away goals run.

Brighton however are a much stronger unit so I am going for a tight home win here if the likes of Pascal Gross and Neal Maupay are on form.

Prediction: Brighton & Hove Albion 1-0 Norwich City

Result: Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 Norwich City
