After suffering a humiliating European defeat to Bayern Munich in midweek, Tottenham Hotspur are back in Premier League action as they visit Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.
Brighton can climb further away from the relegation zone with victory whilst Spurs will at least temporarily go fourth.

Form
Brighton have lost three of their last five matches but have taken 1-1 draws from two of their three home league games so far this season.
Tottenham are unbeaten in three of their last five in all competitions but have scored in four of their five away games in all competitions, including a pair of 2-2 draws in the league.
Stat Attack
- Brighton have taken one point from four Premier League meetings with Tottenham (D1, L3).
- Harry Kane has scored for Spurs on their last two trips to the Amex Stadium.
- Both teams have had one player red carded already this season.
- Neal Maupay has only had five shots off target for Brighton, half the amount that Harry Kane has fired off target for Spurs.
- Harry Kane has scored in each of his last three appearances for Tottenham.
Prediction
With the international break about to commence, Tottenham need to deliver a strong performance here otherwise Mauricio Pochettino will probably resign as it looks like he has taken them as far as he can now.
Brighton however are a solid team who can trouble any opposition on their day and this is a good opportunity for them, with Spurs currently looking shaky all over the pitch and particularly at the back.
I therefore am going for a draw because Brighton can’t seem to win at home and Spurs likewise away, which will suit the Seagulls more because they can sit back and try to pick the visitors off on a fast counter attack.
Prediction: Brighton & Hove Albion 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur
Result: Brighton & Hove Albion 3-0 Tottenham Hotspur
