Charlton Athletic welcome Swansea City to The Valley in a crunch Sky Bet Championship clash as both teams continue their challenge for promotion.
A win for Charlton by a two goal margin could see them climb into second, whilst Swansea will go top if they can take victory.
Team news

Ben Purrington should be available for Charlton despite a minor calf issue as striker, Lyle Taylor remains sidelined with a knee injury.
Tomer Hemed is also absent due to a thigh strain alongside fellow ex Brighton player, Beram Kayal who is recovering from a groin injury.
Swansea is still without Jake Bidwell as he serves the last of a three match suspension after he was sent off at Bristol City nearly two weeks ago.
Aldo Kalulu is still out with an ankle issue.
Form
Charlton ended a two match losing run with a narrow home win over Leeds on Saturday, as the Addicks have taken 10 points out of a possible 15 from their five home league games so far this season.
Swansea are currently winless since returning from the September international break, with two draws and a defeat but are still unbeaten on their travels with two wins and draws apiece.
Stat Attack
- Charlton are unbeaten in three of their last five meetings with Swansea in all competitions (W1, D2, L2).
- Both teams have scored in two of their last three meetings at The Valley.
- Charlton have avoided defeat in 21 of their last 22 home league games (W16, D5, L1).
- Two of Swansea’s last five league goals have come from Borja Baston.
- Charlton haven’t scored more than once in three of their last four home league games, since taking a 3-1 win over Stoke in their first home match of the season.
Prediction
With so much at stake for both teams, I can see a good attacking game here between two strong sides, although Swansea need to start finding their magical touch from August if are to restart their ability to win games.
Charlton however are a tough team to beat at home so a draw would be a good bet but we should see goals at both ends.
Prediction: Charlton Athletic 1-1 Swansea City
Result: Charlton Athletic 1-2 Swansea City
