The draw for this season’s Carabao Cup Fourth Round has thrown up two blockbuster ties as Chelsea host Manchester United whilst Arsenal go to Liverpool.
This is a first chance for Chelsea to extract revenge on United, who thrashed them 4-0 on the opening weekend of the new Premier League season as Frank Lampard again meets Ole Gunnar-Solskjaer in a Cup battle of club legends turned managers.
Liverpool meanwhile will continue their hunt for a first domestic trophy under Jurgen Klopp as they take on Arsenal at Anfield.
Leicester comfortably dispatched Luton Town to earn themselves a trip to last season’s semi-finalists, Burton Albion who dumped Bournemouth out in one of the Third Round’s biggest cupsets.
Oxford United and Sunderland both knocked out Premier League opposition but will face each other at the Kassam Stadium, whilst Tottenham’s conquerors’ Colchester will visit Crawley.
Everton, Aston Villa and Manchester City all have home clashes against fellow Premier League opposition in Watford, Wolves and Southampton respectively.
Ties are to be played on 29th or 30th October.
