Gareth Southgate Names Squad for Latest Euro 2020 Qualifiers

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tyrone Mings have received their first England call-up by Gareth Southgate as part of his 25-man squad squad for their EURO 2020 Qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo. 

Both players have impressed since making respective summer moves to Manchester United and Aston Villa, with Mings in particularly impressive in the blocks and clearances statistics. 

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain returns to the national squad after over a year out with a knee injury, although he has made four appearances for Liverpool since returning in late April. 

Tom Heaton is also back in the fold as he replaces Stoke’s Jack Butland who has struggled for form this season, ultimately being dropped for Saturday’s 3-0 defeat against Leeds United. 

England will face Bulgaria at Wembley on 7 September (5:00pm BST) before facing Kosovo at Southampton’s St Marys’ Stadium three days later on 10 September (7:45pm BST).
