Three Pointers
- Corner exit speed will be key to extracting maximum power along the straights and especially out of the slow Turn Three, which is likely to favour Mercedes.
- With a Saharan heatwave spreading across Europe, the C4 compound could be in for another test in regards to its tyre wear although Sunday is set to be the hottest day.
- Should C3 compound become the favourable race tyre then Ferrari are best placed, having brought more of that compound than rest of the field whilst Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton has brought two each of the C2 and C3 compounds which could make his strategy harder to call.
