2018-19 FA Cup: Quarter Finals – Millwall vs Brighton & Hove Albion

This weekend’s FA Cup Quarter Finals reaches its climax at The Den as Millwall meet Brighton & Hove Albion for a place in the last four.

With Manchester City, Watford and Wolves already through to Semi Finals, will we see the Lions or Seagulls complete that lineup?

Millwall will hand Lee Gregory a late fitness test as he battles a calf injury.

Fred Onyedinma, Ben Marshall, Ben Thompson are cup-tied whilst Murray Wallace is sidelined with injury and is also suspended.

Conor McLaughlin is a doubt as he battles a quad injury.

Brighton have Leon Balogun available after the defender overcame a shoulder injury but Florin Andon (groin), Pascal Gross (thigh) and Jason Steele (wrist) are all sidelined.

Stat Attack

Prediction

Brighton have to just go and play their usual game and soak up the hostile atmosphere because if they let that affect them, Millwall will punish any errors in the same ruthless fashion as they did with Everton two rounds ago.

Millwall however know when to produce brilliant cup performances so am expecting them to really come and attack the Seagulls.

Just to make this even tougher, both sides have relegation worries in their respective leagues so I am going for a draw with Brighton’s quality proving decisive in extra time.

Prediction: Millwall 1-2 AET Brighton & Hove Albion
