2018-19 FA Cup: Fourth Round – Sunday

After Carabao Cup semi-final heartbreak in midweek, Tottenham visit Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park looking to book their place in fifth round draw in Sunday’s big match.

Team news

Crystal Palace have no new injury concerns to report ahead of this clash, as new signing Lucas Perri will go straight into squad.

Papa Souares (shoulder), Vicente Guaita (calf)  and Wayne Hennessey (thigh) are ruled out until further notice.

Tottenham could have midfield duo of Victor Wanyama and Moussa Sissoko back from knee injuries for the short trip to Selhurst Park.

Ben Davies was subbed during Thursday’s defeat by penalties at Chelsea with a groin injury, so is unlikely to be risked here but could be handed a late fitness test.

Harry Kane (ankle) and Dele Alli (hamstring) are definitely out whilst Son Heung-min is unavailable until next weekend after South Korea crashed out of Asian Cup on Friday.

Prediction

Tottenham’s biggest issue at minute is firepower because without their absent trio, they lack pace which was particularly apparent against Chelsea.

Palace however have issues of their own with three home wins in all competitions which is diabolical for a top flight team.

I therefore am not expecting much excitement here although if there’s a winner, it will come from Spurs.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 0-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Result: Crystal Palace 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur
