This midweek sees the Carabao Cup bounce back on the scene with the quarter final stage.
Tuesday’s action sees Manchester City face a tough test at Leicester whilst Arsenal host West Ham in a London derby.
Arsenal vs West Ham
These clubs met last week at West Ham in the league, drawing 0-0 but there has to be a winner here.
This tie has been played twice before in this competition with both teams winning one apiece.
Arsenal however have lost their last four home ties against a fellow Premier League side, so will be keen to avoid defeat here.
The Hammers however are in form, taking seven points from last three after collecting one from David Moyes’ first four games in charge.
On paper, Arsenal should win this but can see David Moyes wanting to win this to provide some momentum for West Ham going forwards.
Prediction: Arsenal 1-2 West Ham
Result: Arsenal 1-0 West Ham
Leicester vs Manchester City
Manchester City are already waltzing off with the domestic league and could be same here.
Leicester have met the Citizens in this competition before on three occasions.
Man City emerged victorious from each of those games and with a strong squad, it should be the same again.
Leicester however have gone on to reach the final from three of their four previous quarter final appearances here.
After Saturday’s 3-0 home battering by Crystal Palace, the Foxes need a response here and with Claude Puel being last year’s runner up, I expect a tough game.

In the end, I can see only one winner.
Prediction: Leicester City 1-3 Manchester City
Result: Leicester 1-1 Manchester City ( Manchester City win 4-3 on penalties)
