Live Saturday Premier League Predictions

Today sees the return of league action after a nearly two week hiatus for the FA Cup third round.

Tottenham kick the weekend off with a home tie against West Bromwich Albion before Chelsea head to Leicester at tea time.

Tottenham vs WBA (12:30pm, Sky Sports 1)

Spurs will be relishing this home tie after the Baggies sent their title credentials into disarray when they last met at White Hart Lane.

Having rested the vast majority of their first team squad last weekend, Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping for a comfortable victory.

West Brom have been tough to break down when away from home and will be looking to alight their Europa League chase with a shock win today.

Dele Alli can’t go into this too confidently because West Brom will play the game tightly and create little space for Tottenham to try and score.

The last three meetings between these teams have ended 1-1 apiece so expect this to be another tight one and if Tony Pulis’ side deliver on counter, we could see a shock.

Prediction: Tottenham 1-1 West Bromwich Albion

Result: Tottenham 4-0 West Bromwich Albion

Leicester City vs Chelsea (5:30pm, BT Sport 1)

League leaders, Chelsea will be without top scorer – Diego Costa after a furious row with Antonio Conte for the trip to the King Power Stadium.

Conte will be pleased to have Nathan Ake available after his return from a loan spell at Bournemouth.

Captain, John Terry starts his suspension following a red card against Peterborough in FA Cup last weekend.

The hosts will be missing Leonardo Ulloa to a thigh injury.

Midfielder, Daniel Amartey and Riyad Mahrez are away on international duty alongside Islam Slimani.

Jamie Vardy is available to return after missing three games with a ban before not making the squad for the FA Cup game with Everton.

This match will be a true test of the progress that Claudio Ranieri has made in recent weeks.

They failed to concede in their last two Premier League clashes making this game a tough one in prospect for Chelsea.

Given how the Foxes tore apart Manchester City on home soil last month in the exact same slot, they surely have to be slight favourites.

They however face some angry Blues, who will want to restart their winning run after losing 2-0 at Spurs ten days ago.

Prediction: Leicester 2-1 Chelsea

Result: Leicester 0-3 Chelsea
