ITV Announce Broadcast Plans For UEFA Euro 2024

ITV have announced their broadcast plans for UEFA Euro 2024. 

Mark Pougatch and Laura Woods will lead ITV’s coverage which commences on 14 June with coverage of the opening match in Munich as tournament hosts, Germany face Scotland.

Gary Neville headlines the punditry line-up which contains Roy Keane, Gary Neville, Karen Carney, Graeme Souness, Eni Aluko and Ian Wright – who recently left BBC’s Match of the Day.

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Ange Postecoglou will provide insight from a managerial perspective alongside Sheffield Wednesday boss, Danny Röhl, whilst Christina Unkel will be the refereeing analyst.

Regular ITV Football commentator, Sam Matterface will lead the commentary team alongside Clive Tyldesley, Seb Hutchinson, Pien Meulensteen and Joe Speight.

Luton winger, Andros Townsend will be on co-commentator duties alongside Lee Dixon and Ally McCoist, whilst Gabriel Clarke reports from England’s camp and Connie McLaughlin will be Scotland’s roving reporter.

Celina Hinchcliffe will be rounding up all the news across all 24 teams and the tournament itself.

Live coverage will be available on ITV, STV and ITVX, with ITV4 only showing ITV’s second-choice matches in Groups C and F on 25 and 26 June, with Denmark’s final Group C clash against Serbia already confirmed for ITV4 on 25 June due to England’s game against Slovenia airing on ITV1.

Highlights will air in the post 10pm News bulletin slot on evenings when ITV doesn’t have live coverage of the 8pm BST kick-off game.

ITV Director of Sport, Niall Sloane described the line-up as a “multi-talented, high-profile team to offer viewers and fans cutting insight and compelling entertainment from what promises to be a festival of the game.”
