Crystal Palace have completed a triple signing of Ben Chilwell, Quinten Timber and Dario Osorio.
Left-back, Chilwell previously spent the second half of the 2024-25 season on loan at Palace from Chelsea and scored one goal in 11 appearances, as the Eagles claimed their maiden FA Cup title.
He since spent last season at Strasbourg where he made 34 appearances, but has now returned to Selhurst Park on a permanent transfer and is “excited” to be back at the club.
“It’s amazing to be back. It’s nice to see some familiar faces, and I’m just really excited to get back in, see the boys and the fans – and get going again.”
At international level, Chilwell has won 21 caps for England and was part of the squad which reached the UEFA Euro 2020 Final.
Timber – twin brother of Arsenal defender, Jurrien Timber – meanwhile has joined from Marseille where he has made just 17 appearances since his move from Feyenoord in January, and brings silverware experience – having won the 2022-23 Eredivisie title followed by KNVB Cup and Johan Cruyff Shield success in 2024.
The 25-year old previously spent time at Ajax in their reserve team before he moved to his hometown club – Utrecht for the 2021-22 season – where he scored twice in 33 appearances, and has one goal in 13 international caps for the Netherlands.
Timber has signed a five-year contract at Selhurst Park until June 2031 and Chairman, Steve Parish believes that he can bring “leadership” in midfield.
“With vast experience of representing his club and country at the highest level, Quinten is a player whose leadership, tenacity and ability we are confident will flourish in the Premier League.
Palace paid undisclosed fees to sign Chilwell and Timber, whilst winger – Osorio has arrived on a season-long loan from Midtjylland with an option to sign permanently next summer.
Osorio had made 121 appearances for Midtjylland since his move from Universidad de Chile in August 2023, during which he contributed 25 goals and 18 assists and won Danish Superliga in 2023-24 season, followed by last season’s Danish Cup.
The 22-year-old also has three goals in 25 appearances for Chile and is pleased to be playing Premier League football this season.

Parish added: “Darío is a hugely promising young player whose development has caught our attention, and we are thrilled to bring him to Crystal Palace.
“He joins a talented young squad with a wealth of international experience – and plenty of room to grow – and we are delighted to have him as part of what we are building here in South London.”
