2025-26 Premier League: Week 36 – Crystal Palace vs Everton

Crystal Palace host top-six chasing Everton in a crucial Premier League clash.

Victory would lift Palace up to 13th if Newcastle lose at Nottingham Forest, whilst Everton can go ninth with a win.

Team News

Palace have no fresh injury concerns to report following their 2-1 second-leg victory at home to Shakhtar Donetsk in their UEFA Conference League semi-final.

Evann Guessand is unlikely to be available because manager, Oliver Glasner is unwilling to rush the forward back from his knee injury until he is match fit.

Borna Sosa (knock), Cheick Doucoure (knee) and Eddie Nketiah (hamstring) remain sidelined.

Everton will again be without Idrissa Gueye after the midfielder suffered a knock in training, which forced him to sit out their 3-3 draw at home to Manchester City.

Jarrad Branthwaite (hamstring) and Jack Grealish (foot) remain absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Palace host Everton at Selhurst Park on Sunday 10 May at 2pm BST, live on Sky Sports F1 in the UK.

Prediction

With their UEFA Conference League Final spot secured, Palace can afford to focus their efforts on their last three league matches and produce more fight than they mustered in their lacklustre 3-0 loss at Bournemouth last weekend, and bring the quality which fans has seen in the Conference League games.

Everton though certainly deserved their lead against Man City with a clinical spell after a lot of defensive resilience, yet they will be disappointed to had not controlled that lead defensively better so I expect a reaction because if they lose this then they can mathematically forget sixth place.

My instinct is that Palace will certainly give Everton a battle with nothing to lose domestically and unless the Toffees has better game management in the closing minutes, I can see the Eagles snatching a draw here.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Everton

Result: Crystal Palace 2-2 Everton
