2025-26 UECL Round of 16: Second Leg – AEK Larnaca vs Crystal Palace

AEK Larnaca meet Crystal Palace in the second leg of their Round of 16 tie in 2025-26 UEFA Conference League.

With the first leg having finished goalless at Selhurst Park, victory would see AEK Larnaca or Crystal Palace advance to the Quarter-Finals.

Should this second leg end in a draw, the tie will go to extra time and potentially penalties.

Team News

Jorge Miramon is ruled out for AEK Larnaca after he suffered a calf injury during the first leg in South London.

Youssef Amyn (hamstring), Waldo Rubio, Giorgos Naoum (muscle), Jimmy (groin) and Valentin Rosberge (finger) remain absent.

Palace will welcome goalkeeper, Dean Henderson back after he missed their goalless Premier League draw at home to Leeds, due to illness.

Daniel Munoz could return after he missed Palace’s last two matches due to a shoulder injury, but Eddie Nketiah (hamstring) and Cheick Doucoure (knee) remain sidelined.

When is Kick-Off?

AEK Larnaca host Palace at AEK Arena – Georgios Karapatakis on Thursday 19 March at 7:45pm EET (5:45pm UK Time), live on TNT Sports 3 in the UK.

Prediction

Yet to concede at home in this season’s competition, AEK Larnaca now must bring their attacking quality after having managed no shots on target in the first leg dominated by Palace.

Palace meanwhile will feel frustrated after they managed no shots on target against Leeds as they stuttered to consecutive goalless draws, but they will be glad with the clean sheets at least although their attack does need to find those clinical final touches.

On that note, I can see this being another low-quality encounter but Palace really should have the edge if things can just click up top.

Prediction: AEK Larnaca 0-1 Crystal Palace

Result: AEK Larnaca 1-2 Crystal Palace (Crystal Palace win 2-1 on aggregate)
