League Two leaders, Bromley have postponed their home match against Oldham due to a frozen pitch at the Copperjax Community Stadium.
The decision has been made in light of freezing temperatures gripping the UK with Oldham fans having received just over 26 hours notice of the postponement, with kick-off having been set for 3pm GMT on Sunday 4 January.
Bromley released a short club statement on their website confirming the postponement with details of ticket validation and how to claim refunds if necessary.
“Following an inspection, our home game against Oldham Athletic on Sunday 4th January has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
“All tickets will remain valid for the rearranged game.
“Once a new date has been confirmed, refunds can be requested.”
The postponement has come at an ideal time for Bromley with their top goalscorer, Michael Cheek ruled out after he suffered an injury during their 2-1 victory at home against Newport County on New Year’s Day 2026.
Bromley also aren’t the only League Two promotion challengers whose game has been postponed with second-placed Swindon’s trip to Harrogate amongst four further matches called off.
