Max Verstappen has been crowned the drivers’ driver of the 2025 F1 season.
Verstappen followed up his success in the Team Principals’ driver of the season vote by topping the drivers’ vote after he claimed eight Grand Prix wins plus two further sprint victories and overturned a 104-points deficit to finish second and just two points behind champion, Lando Norris.
Norris finished second in the drivers’ vote ahead of George Russell who finished third ahead of Oscar Piastri, with the latter pair having found themselves the other way round in the Team Principals’ vote.
Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was ranked fifth despite having failed to win a race this season, whilst his former teammate, Carlos Sainz was ranked sixth after he claimed three third-placed finishes for Williams; of which two of those finishes came in Azerbaijan and Qatar Grands Prix whilst he also finished third in US Sprint.
Fernando Alonso finished seventh ahead of Alex Albon in eighth, whilst rookies, Oliver Bearman and Isack Hadjar rounded out the top ten.
