2025-26 UEFA Conference League: League Phase – Strasbourg vs Crystal Palace

Strasbourg meet Crystal Palace in a huge league phase fixture in the 2025-26 UEFA Conference League.

Victory could put seventh-placed Strasbourg top depending on results elsewhere, whilst Palace can leapfrog their hosts into the top eight with a win.

Team News

Strasbourg have no fresh injury concerns after their Ligue 1 loss at Lens, during which Valentin Barco was red carded, although his ban will only apply to their next domestic match.

Abdoul Ouattara (hamstring), Saidou Sow (knee), Maxi Oyedele (muscle) and Karl-John Johnsson (wrist) remain absent.

Palace will be without Borna Sosa due to a knock.

Chadi Riad (knee), Rio Cardines (adductor) and Caleb Kporha (back) remain absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Strasbourg host Palace at Stade de la Meinau on Thursday 27 November at 9pm CET (8pm GMT), live on TNT Sports 2 in the UK.

Prediction

With just one defeat in eight home games across all competitions this season, Strasbourg do look like a tough team to beat on their own turf but they are yet to keep a clean sheet in the league phase, although they have built crucial match-clinching 2-0 leads in two of their three fixtures at this stage of the competition.

Palace meanwhile are set to be Strasbourg’s hardest opposition yet in this phase and can’t be underestimated, having produced a clinical 2-0 victory at Wolves where they soaked up the pressure before turning up their attack with composed finishing touches.

On that note, I expect this to be a tough game for both teams but Palace should be good for a draw at minimum if play with the same clinical quality as saw at Molineux.

Prediction: Strasbourg 1-1 Chelsea

Result: Strasbourg 2-1 Chelsea
