Spain’s Mari Boya has graduated into Formula 2 with PREMA for the 2026 season.
Boya finished third in the 2025 F3 season across which he took victory in the British Feature Race plus four further podium finishes, as he helped Campos claim the teams’ title for the first time.
The 21-year-old who is part of Aston Martin’s Driver Academy is “super excited” to graduate into F2 with PREMA after having spent two seasons in F3, and is confident that he can maximise his opportunities whilst dealing with new challenges like pit stops and tyre degradation.
“I feel I have a great opportunity, and I’m looking forward to seeing how things go. I’m particularly excited to have longer races than in F3, which I really like, and also pit-stops and tyre deg to deal with. Let’s hope for a good season.”
PREMA’s Team Principal, Rene Rosin added: “We are happy to welcome Mari to the team. If we look at his career, we see a strong progression, and in addition to his speed skills, we know he is a smart and hard-working driver.
“We are looking forward to seeing how these skills will mix with the team, and we are confident he will continue his form to bring home positive results.”
Details of Boya’s teammate will be announced in due course.
