Bournemouth look to keep pace in the Premier League title race as they face a tricky test against relegation-battling Nottingham Forest.
If Manchester City fail to win elsewhere, victory would see Bournemouth climb to second in the table.
Forest can climb out of the relegation zone with a win if Burnley lose at Wolves.
Team News
Evanilson is ruled out for Bournemouth after he missed their 3-3 draw at Crystal Palace with a calf injury.
David Brooks (muscle) could return but Julio Soler (fitness) is a doubt following his return from international duty at the Under-20s FIFA World Cup for Argentina.
Enes Unal remains sidelined with a knee injury.
Forest could be without Chris Wood (knock) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (groin), who both face late fitness checks.
Ola Aina (hamstring) is joined on the sidelines by Dilane Bakwa (unspecified).
When is Kick-Off?
Bournemouth host Forest at Vitality Stadium on Sunday 26 October at 2pm GMT, live on Sky Sports+ in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Bournemouth are yet to lose to Forest in the Premier League (W3, D3).
- Forest are yet to claim a Premier League victory away to Bournemouth (D2, L1).
- Bournemouth have scored first in all three of their home games against Forest in the Premier League.
- Three of Antoine Semenyo’s six league goals for Bournemouth this season were scored at home.
- Forest have scored just one goal in their last six league matches (D1, L5), during which they conceded 13 goals across those six games.
Prediction
Having twice led at Palace, Bournemouth would of rued their defensive mistakes in a crazy draw but I do expect them to bounce back if continue to play with the same attacking quality, albeit with tighter defending because this does feel like theirs to lose.
Forest meanwhile beat Porto at home in Sean Dyche’s first game in charge through two penalties, but their challenge now is to build on that win and score in open play yet they will need to defensively contain Bournemouth’s sharp attack which is no easy task on first glance.
I however just don’t see Bournemouth losing because they will have the fitness and form advantage but Forest realistically need to just take the fight to them and find confidence to take forward into coming games.
Prediction: Bournemouth 2-1 Nottingham Forest
Result: Bournemouth 2-0 Nottingham Forest
