Bromley manager, Andy Woodman has been charged with misconduct following his red card in the Ravens’ 3-3 draw against Tranmere Rovers in League Two.
Woodman was red carded in the 27th minute at the Copperjax Stadium after he protested referee, James Oldham’s decision to allow Tranmere’s first equalising overhead goal from Nathan Smith, before Omari Patrick and Cameron Normal snatched a point for the visitors after the hosts went 3-1 up.
The 54-year-old subsequently was in the dugout for Bromley’s 2-1 Vertu Trophy defeat at Stevenage on Tuesday 7 October, but the Football Association have now opted to charge him for his conduct in the league match against Tranmere.
“Bromley FC’s Andy Woodman has been charged with misconduct following their EFL League Two fixture against Tranmere Rovers FC on Saturday 4 October.
“It’s alleged that the manager acted in an improper manner around the 27th minute, which led to his dismissal, and it’s further alleged that he used abusive and/or insulting words towards the match referee after being sent off and following the final whistle around the changing rooms.
“Andy Woodman has until Monday 13 October to provide a response.”
Bromley currently sit 13th in League Two and just three points off the final play-off spot currently held by MK Dons.
