Spain’s Bruno del Pino has completed a switch to Van Amersfoort Racing for the 2026 F3 season.
Del Pino graduated into F3 this season with MP Motorsport but finished a lowly 23rd in the drivers’ standings, having achieved 16 points through four top-nine finishes which included a second-placed podium finish in the Emilia Romagna Sprint at Imola.
The 19-year-old Spaniard subsequently decided to leave MP Motorsport and switch to Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR) for the 2026 season, whilst acknowledging the trust that MP’s Dutch rivals have shown in taking him on.
“I’m really proud to be joining VAR. It’s a project that excites me a lot, and I’m thankful for the trust the team has shown in me ahead of the 2026 season. I can’t wait to give my best on track and work hard to help the team achieve great results.”
VAR Team Principal, Brad Joyce is “excited” to sign Del Pino as he added: “With a season of F3 already under his belt and a strong record in Eurocup-3, he brings both experience and proven consistency to the team.
“The upcoming post-season tests will give him the chance to get familiar with our environment and we will prepare together for the season ahead. We’re looking forward to working with him and are confident he will be a strong asset as we take on the 2026 campaign.”
