2025-26 Premier League: Week Three – Wolves vs Everton

Wolves chase a first league win of the season against Everton at Molineux.

Victory will lift Wolves out of the relegation zone, whilst Everton could climb into the top four with a win if Chelsea and Sunderland fail to win elsewhere.

Team News

Toti Gomes is available for Wolves after he was suspended for their Carabao Cup victory over West Ham in midweek.

Ki-Jana Hoever and Leon Chiwone are both ruled out with knee injuries.

Everton will have Adam Aznou available despite rumours around his fitness coming into the game.

Jarrad Branthwaite (hamstring) and Nathan Patterson (hernia) remain absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Wolves host Everton on Saturday 30 August in a 3pm BST kick-off at Molineux, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

Having battled back to beat West Ham from 2-1 down after they initially opened the scoring, Wolves now need to take the new-found confidence from that comeback and use that as motivation to go and get a result here after a lack of a clinical touch cost them in their last league game away at Bournemouth.

Everton meanwhile clinically dispatched Brighton and Mansfield in the past week by 2-0 results in league and cup competitions respectively, which will only give them more confidence especially with Jack Grealish already hitting form which he had lost in the past season.

Wolves therefore need to try and isolate Grealish if want at least a draw which I have a feeling that they will get if they can start finding league goals.

Prediction: Wolves 1-1 Everton

Result: Wolves 2-3 Everton
