Tottenham Hotspur have appointed Martin Ho as manager of their Women’s team on a three-year contract until June 2028.

Ho’s appointment comes nearly a month after Robert Vilahamn was sacked following a disastrous season which saw the club finish just above the Women’s Super League (WSL) relegation spot, with just three points in their last 10 WSL matches (D3, L7).

Spurs also ended the season with no victory in their last 11 matches in all competitions, during which they suffered a third-round exit in 2024-25 Women’s FA Cup away at Everton – after they had finished runners-up in 2023-24 season in that competition to Manchester United.

Following an extensive recruitment process and review of last season, Spurs believe that Ho is the right manager to guide the club forward on a three-year contract until June 2028.

Ho began his career as an assistant coach with Everton before he moved to Liverpool Women’s Under-21s as head coach, which was followed by a spell as assistant to Marc Skinner at Man Utd.

2023 saw Ho take a leap into the first-team managerial hotseat at Norway’s SK Brann where he led them to fourth in Toppserien in his first season, which was followed by a second-placed finish in 2024 and he has now left for North London with Brann sat second and one point off the title in Toppserien.
