England vs Jamaica Friendly Preview

Ahead of their UEFA Women’s Euro title defence, England host Jamaica in a warm-up friendly at the King Power Stadium.

Placed within a tricky group at UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 with France, Netherlands and Wales, this is England’s last chance to finesse their plans for the tournament which takes place in Switzerland.

Jamaica meanwhile come into this friendly with just four wins in their last ten friendlies across the last 12 months, so will be looking to spring a surprise with; Chantelle Swaby, Atlanta Primus and Reanna Blades familiar to English football fans.

Team News

England have no injury concerns coming into this game with a full squad available for selection.

Jamaica have a full squad available for selection.

When is Kick-Off?

England host Jamaica on Sunday 29 June at the King Power Stadium, Leicester, in a 5pm BST kick-off, live on ITV1 and ITVX in the UK.

Stat Attack

Prediction

Having struggled to mount much attacking threat in the second half of their away loss to Spain in their concluding Women’s Nations League fixture, England now need to show more attack if want to go into their Women’s Euro title defence on a positive note.

Jamaica though will hopefully be better defensively than they had been in their last few matches because if they concede first, I can see just one outcome looming.

I am however unsure as to what expect because England can’t afford to show their hand here going into their Euro opener against France, yet Jamaica are there for the taking so I can see a clinical routine home win with minimal fuss.

Prediction: England 2-0 Jamaica
