Sky Sports have announced their UK broadcast selection for the final day of the 2024-25 EFL season.
Under the new contract, every final-day fixture will be broadcast live across Sky Sports but the broadcaster have opted for two Championship fixtures to receive main coverage.
Coventry’s must-win tie against Middlesbrough at the CBS Arena will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event, with the Sky Blues knowing that a win will see them secure a play-off spot whilst Middlesbrough must win and hope that Millwall and Blackburn both slip up elsewhere.
Luton’s trip to West Bromwich Albion will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football, as Matt Bloomfield’s Hatters need to realistically win to stay up, although a draw would be enough if Hull fail to beat Portsmouth but a variety of permutations mean that six teams are fighting for survival on the final day.
Ten other Championship fixtures will be available on Sky Sports+ Red Button.
Sky will also air Leyton Orient’s visit to Huddersfield in League One at 3pm BST which sees Orient needing to just match or better Reading’s result against Barnsley to secure the final play-off spot.
All other League One and League Two fixtures will be broadcast live on Sky Sports+ Red Button, with the 3pm blackout not in force on 3 May, with League Two’s stand-out tie seeing Bradford host Fleetwood as the Bantams look to clinch promotion if match or better Walsall’s result at Crewe Alexandra.
