2024-25 Premier League: Week 30 – Arsenal vs Fulham

Title-chasing Arsenal meet Fulham in a huge Premier League showdown between the London rivals.

Victory would move Arsenal nine points behind league leaders, Liverpool, whilst Fulham can climb to sixth with a win.

Team News

Raheem Sterling is available for Arsenal after he was ineligible for their 1-0 home win over his parent club – Chelsea before the international break.

Riccardo Calafiori is ruled out after he suffered a knee injury whilst on international duty for Italy.

Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka (both hamstring), Gabriel Jesus and Takehiro Tomiyasu (both knee) remain absent.

Fulham have no fresh injury concerns to report following their FA Cup exit at the hands of Crystal Palace.

Harry Wilson (metatarsal), Kenny Tete (shin) and Reiss Nelson (hamstring) remain absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Arsenal host Fulham at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday 1 April at 7:45pm BST, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

Currently 12 points behind Liverpool, Arsenal can’t afford any more slip-ups if want any hope of snatching the title because they were wasteful in much of their win over Chelsea before the international break.

Fulham meanwhile were just lacking a polished final touch to their end product in their FA Cup loss to Palace because they otherwise were dominant in the attacking press, yet moments of timid marking cost them from a defensive perspective but they need to bounce back quickly to put the pressure on in the top-four race.

I however do think that Arsenal will be more back toward their best now Saka is available with his intensity and creativity on the right wing, which should be enough if Fulham don’t bring a tidier finishing touch.

Prediction: Arsenal 1-0 Fulham

Result: Arsenal 2-1 Fulham
