2024-25 Premier League: Week 14 – Bournemouth vs Tottenham

Bournemouth host Tottenham in a mid-table Premier League encounter.

Victory can see Bournemouth climb to eighth if Fulham fail to beat Brighton at home, whilst Tottenham can go fifth with a win if Brighton lose their game.

Team News

Lewis Cook is a doubt for Bournemouth after he missed their 4-2 win at Wolves with a muscle injury.

Antoine Semenyo is back from his one-match ban but Julian Araujo, Luis Sinisterra (both hamstring) and Alex Scott (knee) remain absent.

Tottenham could be without Dominic Solanke due to illness.

Archie Gray (knock) is expected to be available for selection.

Guglielmo Vicario (ankle), Mikey Moore (illness), Cristian Romero (toe), Rodrigo Bentancur (suspension), Mickey van de Ven, Wilson Odobert and Richarlison (both hamstring) are sidelined.

When is Kick-Off?

Bournemouth host Tottenham at Vitality Stadium on Thursday 5 December at 8:15pm GMT, live on Amazon Prime in the UK.

Stat Attack

Prediction

After a ruthlessly deserved win at Wolves, Bournemouth need to bring their aggressive attacking intensity and clinical play but be carefully defensively not to get caught on the counter-attack.

Tottenham though have a point to prove after scraping a draw at home to Fulham where they were outperformed despite taking the lead, but Fraser Forster deserves credit for his goalkeeping which was crucial to the result.

Now Spurs need a similar display if want to frustrate Bournemouth who look like they’re capable of winning this if play like they did at Wolves, and I do genuinely think that they will get the result.

Prediction: Bournemouth 2-1 Tottenham

Result: Bournemouth 1-0 Tottenham
