Tottenham Hotspur face West Ham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as the Premier League returns from October’s international break.
Victory would see Spurs climb to sixth in the table, whilst West Ham can leapfrog their hosts into ninth with a win.
Team News
Lucas Bergvall is a doubt for Tottenham after he suffered a minor injury whilst on international duty.
Son Heung-min (hamstring) and Richarlison (calf) could return but Wilson Odobert (hamstring) remains sidelined.
West Ham have no fresh injury concerns with Niclas Fullkrug set to return from a calf injury.
When is Kick-Off?
Tottenham host West Ham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 19 October at 12:30pm BST, live on TNT Sport 1 in the UK.
Stat Attack
- Tottenham have lost one of their last five meetings against West Ham (W2, D2, L1).
- West Ham have taken four points from their last five visits to Spurs (W1, D1, L3).
- Spurs have kept one clean sheet in their last nine meetings against West Ham in all competitions.
- Mickey van de Ven has been booked in each of Tottenham’s last two league matches at home.
- West Ham have claimed five points in three London derbies on the road this season (W1, D2).
Prediction
After a shambolic second-half defensive display which saw them blow a 2-0 lead and lose at Brighton, Tottenham better sort themselves out at the back because their attack otherwise is in form and should be pushing top-four results wise.
West Ham meanwhile finally seemed to find their attacking spark with a ruthlessly clinical win over Ipswich, which is well-timed given their form in London derbies this season so should have a strong belief coming into this game.
I though can’t see Spurs losing this if they can cut out their defensive sloppiness but West Ham will give them a proper test.
Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 West Ham
Result: Tottenham 4-1 West Ham
