BBC and ITV have announced their UK broadcast picks for the first round of 2024-25 FA Cup.
BBC will kick off live TV coverage on Friday 1 November with coverage of League’s One Huddersfield away to National League’s Tamworth, in a 7:45pm GMT kick-off at The Lamb Ground live on BBC Two.
Kettering Town’s trip to Northampton in their Northamptonshire derby will also air live on BBC Two, with kick-off at Sixfields confirmed for 5:30pm on Saturday 4 November.
Sunday 3 November sees ITV broadcast a double-header starting with Birmingham City’s trip to Sutton United at Gander Green Lane, with kick-off at 12:30pm live on ITV1.
Harrogate’s tie at home to Wrexham will follow at 3:30pm that afternoon but across on ITVX rather than a linear channel, as part of the broadcaster’s efforts to lure fans to their streaming service.
ITV will conclude the First Round coverage on Monday 4 November at The Meadow, as Chesham entertain League One’s Lincoln City live on ITV4 with kick-off confirmed for 7:15pm.
