Prediction

Currently facing the prospect of a mid-table finish amidst a tough injury crisis, Brighton will need to show more end product than they managed at Burnley despite their dominance in attack but this game will require clinical finishing and a more defensive approach.

Man City meanwhile weren’t exactly at their best against Chelsea but some robust defending and a late clinical winner proved key, but they will be more fresh here following their longer recovery time so I do expect them to return to their usual attacking dominance.

In fact, I do feel like this will be a case of keeping the goals down from a Brighton perspective because I don’t see them getting anything here due to their injury issues, but Man City’s defence is there to be beaten if can show more composure than Chelsea managed.

Prediction: Brighton 1-2 Manchester City

Result: Brighton 0-4 Manchester City
