2023-24 Premier League: Week 34 – Wolves vs Bournemouth

Wolves entertain Bournemouth at Molineux in a mid-table Premier League encounter.

Victory would see Wolves climb up to 10th in the table, whilst Bournemouth likewise will go 10th if they win here.

Wolves have no fresh injury concerns to report following their loss to Arsenal last Saturday evening.

Leon Chiwone (ankle), Craig Dawson (groin), Matheus Cunha (calf), Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (knee), Noha Lemina, Nelson Semedo and Pedro Neto (all hamstring) remain absent.

Bournemouth have no fresh injury concerns to report as Romain Faivre remains ruled out after he missed the defeat at Aston Villa, due to an unspecified injury.

Chris Mepham (illness), Ryan Fredericks (calf), Tyler Adams (back), Luis Sinisterra and Marcus Tavernier (both hamstring) remain absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Wolves host Bournemouth at Molineux on Wednesday 24 April at 7:45pm BST, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

Despite experiencing a huge injury crisis ahead of the Arsenal game, Wolves did incredibly well to weather the Gunners’ dominance from a defensive perspective with just two goals conceded, whilst their attack evidently was impacted by injuries.

Bournemouth meanwhile will be disappointed with their loss at Villa because they were excellent on the attack but just lacked that end product, whilst pieces of poor defensive marking cost them but they can definitely build on that performance here.

Defeat though would realistically end any chances of European qualification for either team but if Bournemouth can play like they did at Villa, they really should edge this match and continue their unlikely late push.

Prediction: Wolves 0-2 Bournemouth

Result: Wolves 0-1 Bournemouth
