Emerson Palmieri is a doubt for West Ham after he suffered a knock in their controversial defeat at Freiburg in the Europa League last Thursday evening.

Nayef Aguerd (unspecified) is also doubtful but Maxwell Cornet (hamstring) remains ruled out.

Burnley will welcome Josh Brownhill back into contention after he was suspended for their defeat against Bournemouth.

Prediction

Having lacked much end product at Freiburg on Thursday evening, West Ham need to bounce back here if want to reinstall some confidence ahead of the return leg, otherwise they really should look to boost their top-seven prospects by winning a game like this against a vulnerable defence.

Burnley however really should of got a draw against Bournemouth if had been clinical yet they simply lacked the final touch to beat Neto, whilst their defence were simply turned over by some sharp fast-paced attacking play and punished but it’s a game that should give them some confidence.

I however can’t see West Ham letting this game slip given their attacking quality and that loss to Freiburg will only serve to fire them up for this game, but if Burnley can come out as underdogs and play like they did last week with better defending then the Hammers won’t have it easy by any mile.

Prediction: West Ham 1-0 Burnley

Result: West Ham 2-2 Burnley
