Prediction
After finishing runners-up last season, Inter Milan surprisingly finished second in Group D purely on goaal difference despite not losing a single game, which shows just how difficult this team is to beat especially at home with clean sheets in eight of their last 10 home games in all competitions.
Atletico meanwhile have hit a patch of inconsistency with one win in four games this month and Morata is a fairly big loss up front, which poses a difficult question tactically for Diego Simone on top of their run of two wins in their last seven away games across all competitions.
I however do expect Atletico to try and mount a tough fight but with Inter in red-hot home form – especially defensively, I feel that losing by one goal at minimum has to be their aim if want to stand any chance of winning this tie at home.
