Victory would see Jurgen Klopp’s Reds avoid a third exit at this stage in four seasons, whilst Norwich look to advance beyond this stage for the first time since 2021-22 season.

Dominik Szoboszlai is set to return for Liverpool following his recovery from a knee injury which saw him miss their last four matches.
Trent Alexander-Arnold could return from a knee injury which had kept him out of the Reds’ last three matches.
Ben Doak (knee), Konstantinos Tsimikas (shoulder), Joel Matip (ACL), Stefan Bajcetic (calf), Thiago Alcantara (hip), Wataru Endo and Mohamed Salah (both international) remain absent.
Norwich will be without Jonathan Rowe after he suffered a hand injury during their midweek defeat at Leeds in the Championship.
Josh Sargent will also miss this match for tactical reasons, having recently returned from a lengthy ankle injury.

Prediction
Although Klopp’s decision to quit at the end of this season is a major shock, I do expect his players to be extra motivated to send him off with more success starting with this home game, especially after they scraped past Fulham on aggregate in midweek to reach the Carabao Cup Final.
For all of their dominance at Craven Cottage, they often lacked the end product and really should of been taken to penalties if Fulham had been better in their own final touches, yet they scraped through with a draw on the night but they will need to be more polished here.
As for Norwich, I do feel like this is a free hit especially if Liverpool are still subdued in shock at Klopp’s exit announcement, particularly given the Canaries’ counter-attacking quality but they must be clinical yet defensively solid if want to at least snatch a draw.
I however do feel that Liverpool will have too much for them in terms of attacking quality but this could be closer than some might anticipate.
