2023-24 Premier League: Week 10 – Brighton vs Fulham

Top-six chasing Brighton & Hove Albion face Fulham at the AMEX Stadium.

Victory will realistically lift Brighton up to sixth unless fifth-placed Aston Villa suffer a heavy loss elsewhere, whilst Fulham can go tenth with a win.

Brighton have no fresh injury concerns after their midweek win over Ajax in the UEFA Europa League.

Tariq Lamptey (knock), Pervis Estupinan, Danny Welbeck (both muscle), Solly March, Julio Enciso and Jakub Moder (all knee) remain absent.

Fulham have no fresh injury concerns to report following their loss at Tottenham, with Issa Diop (foot), Adama Traore (muscle), Tosin Adarabioyo (groin) and Kenny Tete (knock) still sidelined.

When is Kick-Off?

Brighton host Fulham in a 2pm GMT kick-off on Sunday 29 October at AMEX Stadium, untelevised live in the UK.

Prediction

Despite having lost March and Welbeck, Brighton certainly found a way to cope with their absences against Ajax with a dominant display, even if they needed patience and a clinical end product to get the win but that will give them belief coming into this bogey league game.

Fulham meanwhile struggled to offer much quality against Tottenham and with inconsistent form on the road this season, it is hard to predict what we could see here but they need to start finding goals after drawing blanks in three of their last four league games.

Brighton though will be buoyed by a first clean sheet of the campaign in all competitions even if they can’t stop scoring goals, which only piles the pressure on Fulham’s defence because if the Seagulls score first then I can see their bogey rut in this fixture ending.

Prediction: Brighton 2-0 Fulham

Result: Brighton 1-1 Fulham
