Coventry have no fresh injury concerns to report after their 3-2 loss at Cardiff last Tuesday evening.

Milan van Ewijk (quad), Ben Sheaf (groin), Callum O’Hare (ACL) and Fabio Tavares (Achilles) remain absent.

Huddersfield could welcome midfielder, Jonathan Hogg back into contention after he missed their 2-2 draw against Stoke due to illness.

Daniel Ward (Achilles), Loick Ayina (leg) and Oliver Turton (ACL) remain absent.

When is Kick-Off?

Coventry host Huddersfield in a 8pm BST kick-off at CBS Arena on Monday 25 September, live on Sky Sports in the UK.

Stat Attack

Prediction

Finding consistency within their performances has been Coventry’s main issue so far and after suffering a lacklustre defeat at Cardiff which contained a sluggish tempo and lack of urgency at times, there has to be a response if these Sky Blues are to once again start pushing for promotion.

Having had to deal with the emotion of Neil Warnock’s departure last week, Huddersfield now have to adapt quickly to Darren Moore’s playing style which is mianly 3-5-2 with a deep-lying midfield linking the defensive switch from playing into attack from the back.

Fully adopting that style will however take time but Huddersfield are a solid team so this will likely be a game of learning for both players and Moore alike, which is something that Coventry might just take advantage of if can get on the front foot and are clinical enough.

Prediction: Coventry 2-1 Huddersfield

Result: Coventry 1-1 Huddersfield
