Derby County host West Ham in Monday Night Football at Pride Park as Fourth Round of 2022-23 FA Cup concludes.
Derby are looking to reach the Fifth Round for the first time since 2019-20 season, whilst West Ham are looking to advance from this stage for a third consecutive season.

Eiran Cashin could return for Derby after he missed the Rams’ last two matches with a hamstring injury.
Louie Sibley (groin) remains ruled out.
West Ham will be without Danny Ings after he suffered a knee injury during their Premier League victory against Everton.
Kurt Zouma (quad) is also ruled out alongside Gianluca Scamacca (knee) and Maxwel Cornet (calf) who both remain absent.

- Derby lost their only previous FA Cup tie against West Ham by 5-2 result in March 1923, albeit at Stamford Bridge in semi-finals of 1922-23 FA Cup.
- West Ham are visiting Derby at Pride Park for the first time in the FA Cup. but are unbeaten in two previous visits in all cup competitions (W1, D1).
- Both teams have scored in five of their last six meetings in all competitions – except for a 5-0 win for West Ham in November 2007 in Premier League.
- David McGoldrick has scored in each of his two FA Cup starts for Derby this season, which came in wins over Torquay United and Newport County respectively.
- West Ham are yet to lose in a cup competition this season – excluding penalty shootouts (W9, D1).
Prediction
Unbeaten in all competitions – excluding penalty shootouts – since late October, Derby are a team which shouldn’t be taken lightly because they are a team packed with proven quality like McGoldrick and James Collins who will be difficult to quieten if given chances to attack.
Derby also have proven difficult to break down defensively at home with seven clean sheets in their last nine games at Pride Park, which will certainly give David Moyes’ mis-firing Hammers something to ponder here.
I however do expect Moyes to go for a strong starting line-up despite missing Ings and Scamacca because momentum is vital given their form, especially after a well-earned win over Everton last weekend with clinical attacking play and a disciplined defensive effort.
Derby though should have a vocal home support but if West Ham can build upon their performance of last weekend, I can see them averting any risk of a cupset but this will be a difficult contest.
