2020-21 Premier League: Week 31 – Fulham vs Wolves

Relegation battling Fulham welcome Wolves to Craven Cottage in Friday Night Football from the Premier League.

Victory will lift Fulham out of the relegation zone at Newcastle’s expense until at least Sunday afternoon, whereas Wolves can climb to 12th with a win.

Ademola Lookman is a doubt for Fulham after suffering a hamstring strain in last Sunday’s defeat at Aston Villa.

Marek Rodak (finger) could return but Tom Cairney (knee) remains absent.

Wolves will be without Willy Boly for a second consecutive match after the defender contacted Coronavirus.

Jonny is ruled out after suffering a knee injury in training on Sunday and joins Fernando Marcal (groin) plus Raul Jimenez (head) on sidelines.

Prediction

Having blown a chance to climb out of the relegation zone on Sunday with their defensive meltdown after taking the lead at Aston Villa, Fulham will be looking for a much stronger performance in which they don’t waste chances.

Wolves meanwhile showed fantastic grit and determination to almost come back from three goals down at home to West Ham on Monday, in which they were dominant overall yet wasted several opportunities so will need a more clinical display here.

Throw in the fact that three of their last five Premier League meetings here have finished level, I feel like defending could very well be key but if Wolves can show more of their attacking spirit then they should edge this encounter.

Prediction: Fulham 1-2 Wolves
