Willy Boly could return for Wolves after recovering from a hamstring injury that has kept him out of their last five matches in all competitions.

Fernando Marcal (groin), Daniel Podence (calf), Raul Jimenez (head) and Jonny (knee) are sidelined.

Everton have no fresh injury concerns to report after needing extra-time to beat Rotherham 2-1 in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Allan (hamstring), Fabian Delph (muscle) and Jean-Phillipe Gbamin (fitness) remain absent.

Prediction

Wolves certainly had to fight their way past a spirited Crystal Palace in the FA Cup on Friday but in the league, they need to improve their defending because to throw away a 3-1 lead through poor defending at Brighton in their last league outing was sloppy after punishing the Seagulls’ own mistakes.

Everton meanwhile will certainly be looking for a more clinical performance after a sloppy display against West Ham on New Year’s Day, which was followed by a shaky FA Cup performance in which they needed extra-time to edge past a stubborn Rotherham defence.

This therefore will be a tough one to predict because Everton will certainly be looking for a stronger showing, yet Wolves aren’t pushovers yet have been inconsistent so this will definitely be a close contest but Molineux hasn’t been a kind ground to the Toffees.

Prediction: Wolves 2-1 Everton

Result: Wolves 1-2 Everton
