2019-20 Premier League: Week 38 – Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur

Crystal Palace look to end a seven match winless run as they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Selhurst Park in a final day London derby clash.

Palace could finish this season in 13th with victory if Newcastle lose at home to Liverpool, whereas Spurs need to better Wolves’ result at Chelsea to secure sixth.

Luka Milivojevic could return from a knee injury for Palace as Mamadou Sakho misses out with a muscle injury.

Gary Cahill (hamstring), James Tomkins (thigh), Patrick van Anholt (shoulder) and Christian Benteke (suspension) remain absent.

Spurs could welcome Dele Alli back from a thigh injury but Tanguy Ndombele misses out with an ongoing knee injury.

Prediction

Palace just look like a team in absolute freefall despite still posing an attacking threat when pushing forward, which is a real worry because they need to break this duck now or it could disastrously drag into next season.

Tottenham meanwhile for all of their inconsistencies this season have managed to put themselves within a shot of sixth, and if they continue to play like they’ve done in recent games then this should be a comfortable routine win.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 0-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Result: Crystal Palace 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur
