2019-20 Premier League: Week 35 – Wolves vs Everton

Wolves kick off a quadruple Super Sunday header as they welcome Everton to Molineux in a huge test of the hosts’ top five hopes.

A win for Wolves can return them to sixth position whilst Everton will remain in eleventh position regardless of their result here.

Pedro Neto and Adama Traore could be available for Wolves if they both pass late fitness tests on a respective knock and shoulder injury.

Everton could welcome Mason Holgate back from a knock if he passes a late fitness test.

Andre Gomes (ankle) will face a fitness test but Jean-Philippe Gbamin (Achilles), Fabian Delph (muscle) and Cenk Tosun (knee) remain ruled out.

Prediction

After two below par performances, Wolves simply have to rediscover that clinical edge if want to rescue their rapidly fading top four hopes.

Everton meanwhile did a solid job to scrape a point against a solid Southampton team, which will benefit them here if can be more consistent and pressurise Wolves into more mistakes.

I therefore am not expecting an exciting encounter but I do think that Wolves will have enough to snatch a win here.

Prediction: Wolves 1-0 Everton

Result: Wolves 3-0 Everton
