Ezgjan Alioski then sealed the win just nine minutes later with a superb rebound strike, after Patrick Bamford’s initial shot bounced off the inside of the right post on a counter-attack.
That win ultimately sent them top after West Bromwich Albion could only draw at Wigan, with Charlie Austin’s close range effort cancelling out Sam Morsy’s thunderous opener for the hosts.

Sheffield Wednesday took a 1-1 draw at Derby, which allowed Brentford to move above them on goal difference after the Bees defeated Cardiff 2-1 to end the Bluebirds’ four match unbeaten start under Neil Harris.
Huddersfield picked up their first win in six matches after teenager, Matty Daly struck late in injury-time to snatch victory at Charlton.
Finally, Swansea held Blackburn to a 1-1 draw despite both teams finding themselves reduced to ten men in the second-half, with Tom Carroll and Bradley Dack both dismissed for second yellow card offences.
