2019-20 Premier League: Week 15 – Arsenal vs Brighton

Arsenal look to end a eight match winless run in all competitions as they take on Brighton at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal could climb to sixth with a win as long as Sheffield United lose to Newcastle.

Brighton meanwhile could move four points clear of the relegation zone if they take a shock victory.

Defensive duo, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin could return from respective knee and and hamstring injuries if pass late fitness tests.

Dani Ceballos is still out with a hamstring injury but could return in time for the festive fixtures.

Brighton could have Bernardo available after overcoming a knee injury, which had sidelined him in recent weeks.

Solly March is out with a groin injury but could return on Sunday, whilst Jose Izquierdo (knee) is a long-term absentee.

Prediction

With games coming thick and fast under Freddie Ljungberg, Arsenal need to find a win if they’re to halt this awful run and particularly at home.

Brighton however pose a stern test defensively despite having not won on the road since the opening weekend, although they did run Liverpool close once they found their feet on Saturday.

I am therefore expecting another tough night for the Gunners but a point should be a decent result.

Prediction: Arsenal 1-1 Brighton

Result: Arsenal 1-2 Brighton
