Oli McBurnie is set to start for Swansea despite suffering from flu in recent weeks.

Nathan Dyer is a doubt with a hamstring injury as he potentially joins Leroy Fer (hamstring), Declan John (ankle) and Wayne Routledge (calf) on sidelines. Joe Rodon (foot) and Marcus Olsson (Achilles) are long-term absentees for the Swans.

Brentford will assess Rico Henry who has missed recent games with a foot injury.

Henrik Dalsgaard however is hopeful of playing despite breaking a bone in his hand during the week.

Prediction

This is a difficult tie to call as both sides are in similar form but Brentford have been more consistent with only one defeat in their last 12 across all competitions.

Add in the fact that both sides have bigger priorities in the Championship, I can see this coming down to a case of who wants it more.

That side for me is Brentford given that they tend to impose themselves on the game the longer the match goes on.

Prediction: Swansea 1-2 Brentford

Result: Swansea 4-1 Brentford
