This weekend saw the Premier League return from the international break as Liverpool aimed to displace Manchester City at top of table.
Both sides however remain as they were with City top after both collected away win over Watford and West Ham respectively.
Third place however saw a change for position as Tottenham ran riot in a 3-1 win over London rivals, Chelsea.
Spurs made the brighter start when Dele Alli headed in Christian Eriksen’s free-kick in seventh minute, before Son Heung-min then wasted two glorious chances to double their lead.
Harry Kane eventually secured their second with a low long shot past Kepa Arrizabalaga nine minutes later.

Oliver Giroud pulled one back five minutes from time, heading in Cesar Azpilicueta’s cross but it wasn’t enough to kick-start a comeback as Spurs held on for the win.
Arsenal remain fifth after clinching a 2-1 win over Bournemouth to make it 17 matches unbeaten in all competitions, as the Cherries drop to eighth.
Down at bottom, Fulham still prop up the table despite marking Claudio Ranieri’s debut as manager with a 3-2 home win over Southampton. Stuart Armstrong had given Southampton an early lead before Aleksandar Mitrovic and Andre Schurrle soon turned the game on its head by half-time.

For Southampton, that defeat saw them drop into the bottom three with Cardiff sandwiching them following defeat at Everton, after Gylfi Sigurdsson’s rebound effort on hour mark sent the Toffees sixth.
Huddersfield meanwhile climbed out of the relegation zone with an Aaron Mooy double over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

Leicester secured a point at the AMEX after coming from a goal and man down to draw 1-1 with Brighton when Jamie Vardy’s late penalty cancelled out Glenn Murray’s opener for the Seagulls.
Finally, Manchester United were held to a goalless draw at Old Trafford by Crystal Palace.
