Sheffield Wednesday will be without midfielder, Barry Bannan, who is serving an one match ban after picking up a fifth yellow card against Leeds United on Friday night.

Daniel Pudil (nose), and Ash Baker (leg) are considered doubts whilst Kieran Lee (knee), Joost van Aken (ankle) and Sam Winnall (calf) are all ruled out.

West Bromwich Albion could hand winger, Bakary Sako his debut after signing the ex Crystal Palace star till end of season.

Matt Phillips meanwhile will face a pre match assessment after missing the win at Preston North End at weekend.

Form

After an indifferent start to season, Sheffield Wednesday have lost just one of their last six league games.

The Owls however drew both of their home games last month against Stoke and Leeds whilst recording a triple load of 2-1 results on the road, winning two of those.

West Bromwich Albion are unbeaten in last five league matches, scoring four and drawing one. They however have only won two of their five away games, including last time out at Preston.

Both sides have lost an away game without scoring whilst scoring in all other league matches, although the Baggies have kept one clean sheet unlike Wednesday.
